What is technology?
Technology is anything man-made hence, everything that is not created by nature. Yes, that includes your clothes, the chair your sitting at right now, and the device that you found this blog on. Breathe. Children deserve technology too, everywhere!
How do I know when to introduce technology to my child?
Studies show that the child should not be exposed exposed to technology too early (don't panic, them watching the wiggles at 7 months is just fine)! In this day and age, it is hard to avoid the subject of technology, as even ECE's may resort to it when there is nothing left to calm a child down! Regardless of the fact, this blog will go through the ins and outs of the subject, taking a position on the lengthy debate. For now, go grab your phone from your child's hands and hide it. Do it!

I know what you may be thinking (well, I think since you're here on my blog): I need to get technology away from my child! But, before we jump to conclusions and cancel our data plans, we need to accept the fact that technology is now and it is certainly the future. Children do actually need to be exposed to the subject because it will benefit their futures in school, work and life in general! So do not panic, there will always be a way to introduce technology to your child that is good!
